Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 26 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the EventGen Terms. Capitalised terms have the meanings in the Terms.
1. Lawful and responsible use
You must use the Platform lawfully, fairly and only for legitimate event-management activity. You must not facilitate fraud, harassment, discrimination, infringement, malware, credential theft, unlawful surveillance, deceptive conduct or any activity likely to harm EventGen, a provider, recipient or third party.
2. Recipient data and communications
- Use only recipient data obtained lawfully with required notices, lawful bases and consents.
- Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested or unlawfully shared lists.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing, misleading messages or content that disguises marketing as transactional.
- Use accurate sender information and do not impersonate another person or domain.
- Include a valid opt-out where required and honour withdrawals, objections, complaints and suppressions promptly.
- Do not evade rate limits, provider policies, sender verification, reputation controls or suppression mechanisms.
- Keep lists accurate, remove invalid addresses and monitor complaint and bounce health.
3. Security and access
Do not probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written authorisation; introduce malicious code; interfere with availability; share credentials improperly; access another tenant; or attempt to reverse engineer or bypass technical controls except where law expressly permits.
4. Sensitive and regulated data
Do not submit payment card data outside approved payment fields, authentication secrets, medical records, criminal-offence data, children’s data or other highly sensitive information unless the feature is designed for it and you have documented necessity, authority and appropriate safeguards.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate, require remediation, remove content, throttle or block delivery, preserve relevant evidence, notify an affected provider or authority where lawful, or suspend or terminate access. We will consider severity, recurrence, intent, recipient harm and operational risk. Urgent protective action may occur without prior notice.
6. Reporting
Report suspected abuse to abuse@eventgen.ai or security concerns to security@eventgen.ai.
