Event CRM software
A sales CRM built around event delivery
Use event sales CRM and sponsorship CRM software for sponsor, exhibitor, stand, and hosted-buyer opportunities without splitting the commercial history from the registrations, onboarding, orders, payments, campaigns, and engagement that fulfil the deal.
The deal is not the registration
In EventGen, a deal is a permanent, event-scoped commercial opportunity. It can exist before anybody registers, link to several registrations, and remain intact after it is won. A registration controls a participant's journey and owns their onboarding obligations; the deal separately owns the commercial stage, type, sales owner, value, close date, notes, privacy, activities, and follow-ups.
One registration can also relate to several independent deals. Explicit attribution connects each order, payment, stand, or floor-plan record to the right opportunity instead of guessing from a shared person or company.
Event CRM vs general-purpose CRM
The commercial record and the event work stay connected
| Question | General-purpose CRM | EventGen Event CRM |
|---|---|---|
| What is the deal? | A general sales opportunity whose event fulfilment usually lives in separate event software. | A permanent, event-scoped commercial record that survives registration and winning. |
| How do people relate? | Contacts can relate to opportunities, but attendee registrations and onboarding contexts usually live elsewhere. | One deal can link several registrations, and one registration can relate to several independent deals. |
| What carries across editions? | Contacts and companies persist, but event delivery context usually lives elsewhere. | Contacts, companies, relationship history, and engagement persist; each edition gets a fresh deal for its own inventory, pricing, deadlines, and fulfilment. |
| How is delivery connected? | Registrations, onboarding, orders, payments, and stands normally require integrations or exports. | The deal surfaces linked event work, with explicit attribution to the correct opportunity. |
| Does it replace a company CRM? | The corporate CRM remains the system of record for the wider customer relationship. | Not necessarily. CRM webhooks can feed stage changes and activities to Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zapier. |

Event CRM FAQ
Is EventGen a sponsor or exhibitor CRM?
Yes. EventGen is an event sales CRM for sponsorship, exhibitor, stand, and hosted-buyer opportunities. Permanent deals connect the sales pipeline to linked registrations, onboarding summaries, explicitly attributed orders, payments, stands, campaigns, and event engagement.
Is the deal the same record as the registration?
No. A deal and a registration are separate, linked records. The permanent deal owns commercial state such as stage, type, owner, value, notes, activities, and follow-ups. A linked registration owns the participant journey and onboarding obligations. A deal can link several registrations, and a registration can relate to several deals.
Why use an event CRM instead of a normal CRM?
A normal CRM is useful for the wider customer relationship, but it usually stops at the sale. EventGen keeps the commercial deal connected to the event work that delivers it: linked registrations and onboarding, explicitly attributed orders, payments and stands, campaigns, and engagement.
Does EventGen replace Salesforce or HubSpot?
It does not have to. EventGen is the event-native workspace for the opportunity and its delivery. Outbound webhooks can send CRM stage changes and activities to a corporate CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot via Zapier.
Can a CRM deal exist before somebody registers?
Yes. A deal can start before any registration exists. Organisers can later link an existing registration, create one, mark the deal won, or win it and create a registration without losing the earlier commercial history.
Which CRM capabilities are not yet shipped?
General sponsor-contract fulfilment checklists, deal-led live inventory reservation, automatic invoice generation, renewal automation, and company-participation management are roadmap capabilities. Registration-linked onboarding summaries and explicit order, payment, and floor-plan attribution are shipped.
