AI-native

Designed for what's next

EventGen brings 20 years of hands-on experience building event, meeting and networking software into a modern, AI-native platform - built from the ground up, without the limitations of legacy systems.

Some of the world's most demanding organisers - including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Gartner and ACI North America - have relied on networking technology from our team.

Those organisations used our team's earlier technology - they're not EventGen customers.

The experience behind EventGen

The problem

The industry forces you to choose. We removed the choice.

Event software has always had two lanes. Both have trade-offs. EventGen created a third.

Core advantages

What actually sets EventGen apart.

Not incremental improvements - capabilities built from 20 years of running real events.

AI builds your entire event.

Describe your event, paste your website URL, or upload images, documents, or spreadsheets. The multimodal AI uses that context to set up your event. It's not a chatbot that only answers questions; it executes 300+ confirmed actions across your dashboard, from registration and portal pages to plain-English audience filters, networking, and communications.

  • Creates registration types, fields, and multi-step flows
  • Builds editable saved filters from complex plain-English requests
  • Builds and publishes portal pages with widgets and styling
  • 40 networking-specific tools - groups, relationships, scheduling
  • Drafts email, SMS, and WhatsApp templates
  • Works with uploaded images, documents, and spreadsheets
  • Extracts event details from event's website URL

Networking and matchmaking, built in.

Open and curated networking in one engine. Attendees find relevant people and arrange one-to-one meetings themselves, or organisers run hosted buyer and B2B matchmaking programmes with meeting wishlists, algorithmic matching, preliminary review, and scheduled release. Team booths, What-If scheduling, and cross-field profile matching require no hardware badges or professional services.

  • Curated: wishlists → matching → review → schedule → release
  • Open: browse, request, direct-book, and reschedule one-to-one meetings
  • Team networking with booth concurrency and member assignment
  • What-If tool explains conflicts and suggests ranked fixes
  • Profile matching with cross-field option linking - not keyword guessing
  • Optional AI Intent Matchmaking for natural-language discovery and objective-led curation

AI onboards you, start to finish.

No demos. No implementation projects. No consultants. No onboarding team. Sign up, choose how you'd like to begin - paste your website URL, describe your event, or start from a template - and the AI guides you through the entire setup.

  • Three ways to start: paste a URL, describe your event, or use a template
  • AI extracts your details and configures the whole event for you
  • Guided as it goes - the AI explains each action it takes
  • Published self-service packages, with Enterprise+ available by custom Order
  • From sign-up to a live event in minutes - entirely self-service

Platform

Everything your event needs. Nothing it doesn't.

One platform - registration, programmes, networking, floor plans, sales CRM, communications, payments, a branded portal, and the event day itself.

Multi-Path Registration

Different attendee types, different journeys. Per-type fields, approval workflows, team registration, and RSVP mode with one-click accept/decline.

Programme & Sessions

Multi-track agenda with capacity, waitlists, and selection rules. Seat sponsors next to buyers they wanted to meet - session allocation tied to networking data.

Networking & Matchmaking

Open and curated networking in one engine, including hosted buyer programmes, B2B matchmaking, optional AI intent discovery, wishlists, appointments, and What-If scheduling.

Obligations Management

Automate every obligation from request to assessment. Send reminders, track forms, documents, payments, and wishlists through submission, then assess uploaded documents where needed.

Attendee Messaging

A lighter alternative to structured networking - attendees message each other directly and get notified. You decide who can message whom, with anti-spam limits built in.

Payments & Ticketing

Stripe-powered checkout with tickets, add-ons, product bundles, discount codes, and invoicing. Payments go to your Stripe account with 0% EventGen commission.

Omnichannel Comms

Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications from one template. Automated triggers on registration, payment, and networking events. Dynamic audiences re-evaluated at send time.

Tag-Aware AI Writer

Create or rewrite audience communications with valid EventGen tags and the event's saved brand voice. Define the voice manually or extract it from one or more communication templates or pasted text.

Smart Fields & Forms

System and custom fields with per-type overrides - different questions for speakers vs delegates. Conditional visibility, validation rules, and field codes for API integration.

AI Filter Builder

Ask for the exact records you need in plain English. AI creates transparent, editable saved filters with dates, exclusions, comparisons and grouped AND/OR logic.

Data Import

A 5-step import wizard with field mapping, validation, duplicate detection, dry-run preview, and safe bulk updates for registrants and contacts.

Branded Event Website

Visual builder with multiple layouts, all your modules on one branded site, and your own domain with automatic SSL. Pre-rendered pages for fast global loading. Publish when ready, preview before you do.

On-Site Check-In & Kiosk

The event-day app for your staff - venue and session check-in with smart IN/OUT, duplicate protection, roster enforcement, and a walk-in override. Plus an unattended self-service kiosk mode. Offline-first, syncs when back online.

Badge Designer & Printing

A precise badge designer that matches any badge stock - set the exact size in millimetres, with fold options and pre-printed zones. Drop in fields, photos, QR codes, and barcodes with per-type colours, then export a print-ready 300-DPI PDF or print on demand at the door.

Lead Retrieval & Meetings

One app, two modes: exhibitors scan badges on their own phones - ratings, tags, notes, team mode, Excel export - and hosted buyers see their next meeting with a live countdown and private notes.

Interactive Floor Plans

Describe the layout or upload a labelled stand-plan image and AI builds an editable draft. Price and sell stands as live inventory, then publish the interactive attendee map.

Event CRM & Pipeline

An event-native CRM where permanent deals link directly to registrations, onboarding, stands, orders, payments, campaigns, and fulfilment without losing the commercial record.

Automated Application Review

For application-led events, review submissions using configured logic and scoring, AI for qualitative answers, or both, then approve or decline without manual triage.

Campaign Attribution

Preserve UTMs and advertising click IDs through registration, compare registrations by campaign, and support consent-aware Google Ads conversion delivery when configured.

AI Analytics & Surveys

Registration, attendance, revenue, and satisfaction dashboards with an on-demand AI executive summary, sentiment analysis, and built-in post-event surveys with NPS.

Portal Assistant

A self-serve assistant on your event portal answers attendee questions instantly - from your live event data and the knowledge topics you curate. It never invents an answer, and logs anything it cannot answer so you can fill the gap.

Gala Dinners & Seating

Sell whole tables or individual seats, or assign tables to hosts; let hosts nominate their guests and manage assignments - with an optional visual table plan.

Exhibitor Manual

One deadline-driven Exhibitor Zone where each exhibitor completes their documents, forms, stand orders, and directory listing. Build tasks from what you already have, target them to specific stands, track a live completion matrix, and auto-chase stragglers.

Reports & Exports

Ready-made reports on registrants, sessions, meetings, orders, and check-ins. Pick your columns, apply saved audience filters, save configurations, and export to Excel, CSV, or ODS.

Roles & Permissions

Enterprise access control: a role hierarchy across organisation, dataset, and event levels, with role inheritance, explicit no-access, user groups, and service accounts - built for large teams.

Reminders & To-Dos

Automated reminders to attendees before their meetings and sessions, plus a setup to-do list that tells your team what still needs doing - snooze it, dismiss it, or add your own tasks.

API, Webhooks & Zapier

API keys for programmatic access, real-time webhooks on registration, payment, and CRM events, and service user accounts for machine integrations.

Why EventGen

Enterprise capability without enterprise friction.

Not a longer feature list - less friction at every step. Here's what changes when an organiser chooses EventGen instead of another platform.

The usual way

Weeks of onboarding before you can even launch your first event.

Enterprise platforms are typically demo- and consultant-led to get started.

With EventGen

AI self-onboarding - sign up and build a real event in minutes.

The usual way

Setup needs consultants and a paid implementation project.

Elsewhere, AI is usually limited to matchmaking or recommendations, not building the event.

With EventGen

AI builds your event - registration, portal, and comms - from a description or your website URL.

The usual way

Networking is a premium add-on, a separate product, or simply missing.

On most platforms networking sits in a higher tier or a separate product.

With EventGen

Networking demo on Free, preview on paid Base plans, and full curated and open networking with Engage.

The usual way

Your networking format doesn't fit how the platform works.

These are often separate products or available only on enterprise platforms.

With EventGen

Hosted-buyer, curated, and open networking in one platform.

The usual way

Team members coordinate their meetings separately and double-book.

Available on some enterprise platforms, usually at extra cost.

With EventGen

Shared team networking with concurrency awareness across the team.

The usual way

Meeting schedules go live before anyone can sanity-check them.

Rare, and typically requires implementation services to set up.

With EventGen

A preliminary review step before schedules are released to attendees.

The usual way

Locked into long, expensive annual contracts.

Enterprise event pricing is often quote-based and annual.

With EventGen

Transparent public pricing, billed monthly, cancel anytime.

The usual way

You'd be trusting an unproven new tool with a serious event.

EventGen is a new, AI-native platform - the experience behind it is not new.

With EventGen

Built by a team with 20 years of event-networking experience.

Competitors' capabilities and pricing vary and change over time - we describe the typical case, not every platform.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know about EventGen. Can't find your answer? Email us.

What is EventGen?

EventGen is an AI-powered event management platform. Describe your event - or paste your website URL - and AI builds your registration, attendee portal, networking, and communications automatically. Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise are self-service; Enterprise+ uses a negotiated Order.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free is £0 and supports two event activations per plan year, one operational event at a time, and 50 unique registrants per event. It includes core EventGen capabilities within its allowances plus a networking demo. No credit card is required to start.

How much does EventGen cost?

There are five tiers: Free (£0), Starter (Base £75/month; Engage £150/month), Pro (Base £150/month; Engage £400/month), Enterprise (Base £600/month; Engage £1,200/month), and bespoke Enterprise+. Billing is available in GBP, USD, and EUR; annual payment is ten times the corresponding local monthly price.

Does EventGen take a commission on ticket sales?

No. EventGen takes 0% commission on attendee payments. Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account, so EventGen does not hold your ticket revenue or pay it out later. Standard Stripe processing fees and Stripe's payout schedule still apply.

Do I need a demo or a sales call?

Not for Free, Starter, Pro, or Enterprise: sign up and buy from the dashboard. Enterprise+ is individually quoted and uses a versioned Order.

What can the AI assistant actually do?

The multimodal AI assistant is not just a chatbot - it executes 300+ confirmed actions across your dashboard. You can describe what you need, paste a website URL, or upload images, documents, and spreadsheets for the assistant to use as context. It can create registration types and forms, turn complex plain-English audience requests into editable saved filters, build and publish portal pages, configure hosted-buyer networking, and draft email, SMS and WhatsApp templates.

Can I upload files to the EventGen AI assistant?

Yes. EventGen's dashboard AI assistant is multimodal, so you can upload images, documents, or spreadsheets and ask it to use their contents while helping you configure your event. The assistant remains context-aware across the dashboard, and every executable action is presented for confirmation before it runs.

Can EventGen's AI build complex audience filters from plain English?

Yes. Describe the registrants or contacts you need and the AI Filter Builder checks the fields and operators available for the current event, resolves event-specific values such as registration types and sessions, and proposes transparent, editable saved-filter rules for confirmation. It can combine supported registration and contact data, progress status, dates, custom fields, products, payments, and session selections with AND/OR groups, comparisons, inclusions, and exclusions. Saved filters stay dynamic and can be reused across registrant views, Campaigns, reports, and exports. If a requested criterion is not available in the current filter metadata, the assistant says so rather than inventing it.

Does EventGen support hosted buyer and B2B networking?

Yes. EventGen includes hosted buyer programmes, curated B2B matchmaking, meeting wishlists, one-to-one appointment scheduling, and open attendee networking in one platform. Free includes a networking demo; Starter, Pro, and Enterprise Base plans include preview access; their Engage packages enable full networking. Enterprise+ includes networking.

How is EventGen different from Cvent, Bizzabo, or Eventbrite?

EventGen combines self-service setup with registration, portals, AI-assisted configuration, communications, and optional full networking. You can start free and purchase the published Starter, Pro, or Enterprise packages in the dashboard; Enterprise+ is custom quoted.

Does EventGen handle on-site check-in and exhibitor lead retrieval?

Yes. EventGen Onsite is the companion app for your event-day staff - venue and session check-in, offline badge printing, meeting verification, and a self-service kiosk mode, all syncing live to your dashboard. Lead Retrieval is a separate app exhibitors run on their own phones to scan attendee badges, rate and tag leads, and export them to Excel. Lead Retrieval is purchased per event as packs of activation slots from your dashboard - it is not part of the platform plans, and every event includes 2 free activation slots on every plan (including Free) to test before buying.

Can I use my own branding and custom domain?

Yes on paid plans. The visual portal builder creates fully branded attendee sites, and Starter through Enterprise+ can serve them on your own domain with automatic SSL (for example, your-event.yourbrand.com). Free uses an EventGen domain.

How does EventGen support GDPR compliance and security?

EventGen provides GDPR-aligned contractual, technical and organisational safeguards, including a Data Processing Agreement and published sub-processor information. Customers remain responsible for their own controller obligations and configurations. EventGen is a product and trading name of Evengage Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16480174).
